About the Role
This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the office and 1-day WFH. You'll work within a "pod" alongside a Senior Manager and fellow accountants, as part of a larger team of 22.
Responsibilities
Preparing BAS, IAS, and other financial statements
Preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships
Supporting complex tax processes (Div7A, CGT, GST) for a range of entities and group structures
Liaising directly with clients across industries including agriculture, veterinary services, hospitality, and more (turnovers up to $30M)
Providing accurate, timely business advice to clients of various sizes
About You
1–3 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm
Exposure to Div7A, GST, CGT, FBT
Experience with business clients with turnover of $2M+
Preferred software exposure: CCH iFirm, Xero, FYIDocs
Motivated, honest, positive, and professional
Qualifications are a bonus (CPA/CA/IPA) – experience & enthusiasm are highly valued
