EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
**About the Opportunity**
Our EnergyCo NSW Project Procurement team is currently seeking to appoint a Principal Procurement Advisor to provide specialist advice and support to EnergyCo project delivery teams on complex high value procurement and contracting activities.
The role operates in a matrix style model, partnering closely with Project Directors and their teams to ensure that procurement strategies and plans are developed and implemented in accordance with government and EnergyCo policy and support the successful delivery of programs and projects.
**About You**
In this role, you will focus on developing procurement strategies that drive innovation and deliver value-for-money outcomes for EnergyCo's priority projects whilst partnering closely with the Project Delivery teams to manage complex procurement and contract activities, ensuring optimal outcomes through robust policies, frameworks, and contract performance management. We are seeking someone who will provide high-quality procurement insights and advice, fostering strong relationships with internal teams and broader NSW Government procurement service areas to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with best practices.
**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.

**Who we are?**
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government's Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state's electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State's first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
