Imagine working in a vibrant art environment where creativity is celebrated and original works are displayed throughout the property. At our hotel, we have an extensive collection of over 400 pieces by emerging and established artists.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop engaging art tours for guests, sharing stories about our collection and the talented artists who created them.
* Coordinate exhibitions and events showcasing local talent, manage art sales, shipping, and achieve sales targets.
* Foster close relationships with artists and guests to ensure seamless experiences.
In this unique role, you'll also play a central part in coordinating prestigious awards like the Glover Prize and the Henry Jones Art Prize, curate and open new exhibitions every 5–6 weeks in the Packing Room Gallery, and act as a key contact for our Artist in Residence program.
We're looking for someone with a degree in fine or visual arts, a strong interest in contemporary art, and excellent administrative skills. You should have an outgoing personality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to tailor guest experiences.
