Now with stores across Australia & New Zealand, Dr. Martens is continuing to grow and dominate the Australian market.About the role :We have an exciting role available for a Merchandise Planner to join our Dr Martens Team.
Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will provide structure, visibility, control, and support to various brands, working in partnership with the Merchandise Buyers in the achievement of budgeted sales and gross profit.Your key responsibilities will include :Budget formation, building and maintenance of Merchandise Financial Plans (MFP's / WSSI's) in consultation with the Buyer and the Buying & Planning Management teamsManagement of all reporting, product and brand analysis, both weekly and seasonallyMaximising return on inventory, closing stock management, markdowns, and aged stockAll OTB requirements, option plans, budgeted inventory levels and forecastsProduct analysis and preparation to facilitate and identify sales growth opportunities / issues in the businessMonthly Replan (of MFP), working with the buyer for product insights, to maintain current, accurate merchandise plans including OTB, markdown, sales, GP, and stock forecastsProduct and distribution recommendations as an output of MPF Replans and ongoing reporting and analysisMonthly tracking of sales and related information to compare with budget, plan, and prior yearDetermine, review and maintain optimum stock levels of retail stores and analyse product flow and sales trends to ensure accurate forecasts of product needsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have :Demonstrated minimum 5 years' experience in a Merchandise Planning roleDemonstrated ability in a high-volume retail industryDegree in a related discipline (prefer but not essential)Experience managing and developing a team of results-driven planning team membersStrong financial and numeracy acumenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAffiliation with Accent Group Core values and "Make It Happen" attitudeWhy Join Accent Group?A supportive, fun, collaborative, and friendly team cultureThe opportunity to work with a growing company and the best global brandsOngoing career development and training to grow your careerGenerous employee discount of up to 40% off all our brandsAt Accent Group Limited, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
