Data Modeller
Talenza's client are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data models within a modern cloud data environment. You'll work closely with analytics engineers and BI developers to ensure data integrity, performance, and usability across the business.
Location: Brisbane, 2 days WFH
Employment Type: contract, 6 months + extension
Your role:
* Design, build, and optimize data models in Snowflake.
* Develop and manage data pipelines and transformations using dbt.
* Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and collaboration.
* Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to modelling standards.
* Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable insights.
Skills:
* Proven experience in data modelling and warehousing.
* Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and GitLab.
* Strong SQL and understanding of dimensional modelling principles.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
