About The Role
As Workshop Foreman at our dealership, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient servicing, repair, and maintenance of trucks and commercial vehicles. You will provide hands‑on technical leadership, coordinate workflow, and uphold high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Overseeing daily workshop operations, job allocation, and workflow planning
* Providing technical guidance and support to technicians and apprentices
* Diagnosing complex mechanical and technical faults and assisting with repairs where required
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with job cards, manufacturer standards, and timeframes
* Coordinating parts requirements and liaising with Parts and Service teams
* Reviewing and approving completed work and associated documentation
* Mentoring and developing technicians and apprentices
* Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
About You
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
* A recognised trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (dual trade advantageous)
* Proven experience in a senior technician, leading hand, or workshop foreman role
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
* Advanced diagnostic and technical capability across heavy vehicles and machinery
* Excellent planning, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
* A current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
