About the Role
Metwide Communications is a growing company with a strong presence in NSW and QLD. We're looking for a capable technician in Sydney who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and represent our brand with professionalism.
You'll be assigned daily jobs across commercial, government, and residential sites, working hands-on to install, service, and integrate modern electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, alarms, and intercoms.
Technicians with experience on NSW Department of Education Sites especially in maintaining and servicing Inner Range Concept, Integriti, and proprietary school access systems – are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
* Install, program, and commission alarm, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems
* Lead intercom installations and integrations in commercial, residential, and industrial environments
* Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and servicing
* Perform system upgrades and corrective works, particularly on school access systems
* Complete all work to a high professional and safety standard
* Deliver excellent customer service and tailored security solutions

Systems & Technologies
* Access Control & Alarms: Inner Range (Integriti, Inception, Concept 4000)
* CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, Axis
* Intercoms: Hikvision, Aiphone, 2N, Commend, Dahua
* IP networking, integration, and commissioning
* NSW Government school site familiarity a bonus (including secure portals, work order compliance)

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in security system installation and servicing
* Confidence working independently on-site
* Strong intercom and system integration knowledge
* Experience working on government and school facilities (preferred)
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
* A positive, professional attitude and desire to grow with the company

Essential Requirements
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* ACMA Open Cabling Registration
* NSW Security Licence
* White Card
* Current Driver's Licence
* Relevant industry experience and certifications
