The Assistant Director is an experienced Senior Educator who provides robust leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team.
Skills and Experiences
Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills
* Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
* Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
* State relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening
* Current Child Protection Training
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organized with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities, and managing time effectively.
Desirable
* Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator
* Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Educator (or similar equivalent platforms)
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Facebook.
