Position Purpose
The HR Administrator / HR Officer provides administrative and operational support across all human resources activities.
The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and assisting with compliance and employee administration.
Key Responsibilities/HR Administration
* Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR systems.
* Prepare standard HR documents such as contracts, letters, and variations using templates.
* Track probation periods, contract changes, and employment milestones.
* Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
* Assist with job advertisements and interview scheduling.
* Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation.
* Coordinate inductions and onboarding checklists.
* Maintain recruitment and onboarding records.
Employee Support
* Respond to basic HR enquiries from employees.
* Refer complex HR matters to the HR Manager or Managing Director.
* Assist with performance review administration and documentation.
Compliance & Records
* Support compliance with employment legislation and the Telecommunications Services Award.
* Maintain leave, training, and compliance records.
* Assist with audits and reporting as required.
Payroll & Data Support
* Provide accurate employee data to payroll.
* Maintain records of leave, hours, and employment changes.
* Support payroll queries by providing documentation.
Work Health & Safety Support
* Assist with HR documentation related to WHS incidents and return-to-work processes.
* Maintain WHS-related records as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential
* Experience in an HR administration or office administration role.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
* Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
* Experience working with modern awards.
* Experience using HR or payroll systems.

Indicative Salary Range (Guide)
Pro-rated salary (2 days per week)
* Full-time salary: $75,000 p.a. (plus super)
* Working fraction: 2 days / 5 days = 0.4 FTE
Pro-rated base salary:
$75,000 × 0.4 = $30,000 per year
Superannuation (current standard)
From 1 July 2025 onward, Super Guarantee = 12%
* Super on $30,000 @ 12%:
$3,600 per year
Total package (2 days per week)
* Base salary: $30,000
* Super (12%): $3,600
* Total package: $33,600 per year
