About This Role
As an Executive Assistant in the Financial Advisory team, you will play a key role in the effective day‐to‐day operations of the team and provide intuitive support, displaying a high level of initiative, multi‐tasking and adapting quickly to last‐minute change. You will proactively anticipate the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise.
Please note that this is a maximum term contract opportunity ending Friday 18 December 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level administrative support to three Partners and the broader Financial Advisory team
* Manage inboxes, calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
* Complete client onboarding through CERA
* Process Partner expenses in Concur
* Organise team training sessions, internal meetings, and client / team events
* Preparation and formatting of documents and correspondence in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines
* Manage and maintain databases and systems, including regular updates in Salesforce CRM
* Support monthly billing processes
* Prepare and distribute bulk mailouts and communications
* Provide general administrative and ad‐hoc support as required
Skills And Experience
* Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant within a corporate or professional services environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels
* Highly organised, with the ability to multi‐task and work effectively under pressure
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
