About the role
Erskine Discount Drug Store is seeking an experienced Full Time Dispensary Technician to join our team. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our busy pharmacy.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications
* Receive and process customer prescriptions, including data entry and labelling
* Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving and stocking of supplies
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing any concerns
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant regulations
* Support the pharmacy team with any other administrative or operational tasks as required such as finalizing claims and liaising with other health professionals
* Aid in webster packing
* Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1 year experience as a Dispensary Technician or Pharmacy Assistant
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems, we use FRED.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and procedures, the PBS and dispensing
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
