ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bid Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll manage the end-to-end bid and tender process, helping us secure exciting new projects in the residential and education sectors. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure our submissions are timely, accurate, and compelling. Each submission will clearly demonstrate our capability and experience in delivering quality modular construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
* Take the lead in the preparation and submission of high quality EOI's and tenders.
* Review tender documents and identify key deliverables, risks, and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with Design, Estimating, Procurement, and Project teams to gather content and pricing.
* Maintain a bid schedule and ensure all deadlines are met.
* Liaise with external consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed.
* Track bid outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Demonstrated ability to manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity assessment through submission, negotiation and handover to manufacturing teams.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and identifying development opportunities.
* Prior background in estimating, project management or commercial management.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Tertiary qualification in construction, business, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience in modular construction or offsite manufacturing (advantageous).
