4impact is seeking multiple API Developers to design and implement integrations on a microservices-based architecture.
You will work in a hybrid environment, including both a spacious Brisbane or Sydney office or a remote location of your choice – we encourage you to get creative and work where you feel your best
Please note there are 3 roles available.
Experience Required:
5+ years of API and Microservices development using Java, SpringBoot in AWS
2+ years experience with AWS cloud
Experience designing and implementing integrations on microservices-based architecture
Experience using DevOps tools & frameworks for managing infrastructure as code (CI/CD) such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, Git
Experience in Spring Security
Experience with systems integration, Spring Boot, APIs (SOAP, REST), API Management platform (Apigee), event streaming (Kafka) and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
Technical Skills:
Modern Java (at least version 17)
Spring Boot (at least version 2)
Spring Security
Cloud technology: AWS preferred
Docker (building images, managing a Docker repository)
Event Streaming (Apache Kafka)
Messaging (ActiveMQ)
SQL (Oracle RDBMS, Amazon RDS - Postgres)
NoSQL (MongoDB, Mongo Atlas)
Web services (RESTful, SOAP, HTTP)
API Gateway (Apigee Edge or Apigee X)
