Factory Hand & or hay processing operators wanted.
Pyrenees Hay is an Australian owned Hay Exporter with a state-of-the-art hay processing & packing facility located in Avoca Victoria.
We have new positions available due to growth of the business and a great opportunity awaits those looking for a long-term role (starting as casual) within an established and well supported Company.

Some of the daily tasks include (depending on experience);
*Working to all safety procedures & policies according to OH&S standards.
*Operate various sized forklift to load shipping containers with packaged hay bales (subject to qualification/ticket).
*Operate hay processing/pressing, wrapping, sleeving equipment (Training provided)
*Operate telehandlers (subject to qualification/ticket) to move hay bales.
* Sweeping up loose hay and other cleaning (this is something the whole team participates in)
* Checking hay quality (i.e.) for moisture levels etc before unloading truckloads of hay into the sheds with telehandler.
*Respect and maintain all equipment.
* Work with team to ensure production meets schedule.
Skills required:
* Evidence of right to work in Australia.
*Reliable & punctual.
* Positive attitude.
*Have safe work mindset & adhere to OH&S policies and procedures.
* Ideally experience in operating machinery in some capacity.
*Forklift license essential (the other machines/ticket we can supply training for on the job).
*Telehandler license an advantage but not essential.
* Team player.
