The Opportunity
We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Driver / Automotive Parts Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Broadmeadows. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry, enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and is looking to build a rewarding career with long-term growth potential.
Role responsibilities
* Forklifting vehicles in yard and in workshop
* Perform basic Quality Control tasks and complete washing of Engines, Transmissions and other parts to ensure parts meet business quality standards
* Scanning, photographing and labelling parts
* Ensure parts are collected for packing and wrapping in a timely manner
* Packing and wrapping parts for transport
* Loading stillages with parts and loading stillage on truck
* Assisting with stock and consumables counts
* Follow all site safety requirements
* General yard and forklift duties as directed
The successful candidate will have the following:
* MUST HAVE - Forklift license (7 tonne forklift on site)
* Knowledge of mechanical car parts and panels
