NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is a long-standing Australian gold explorer and producer with operations in North Queensland and key corporate functions — including HR and Finance — based in West Perth.
We're seeking a proactive, detail-driven Payroll Officer to support our business and ensure our people are paid accurately and on time. If you enjoy variety, ownership and being part of a supportive team, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do
* Process end-to-end payroll for monthly salaries and fortnightly wages with the support of our Senior Payroll Officer
* Maintain accurate employee and payroll records in SAP
* Process new starters, terminations, leave, salary sacrifice, super & adjustments
* Assist Finance and HR with monthly, ad hoc and year-end reporting
* Provide accurate payroll data to internal stakeholders and external partners
* Resolve payroll queries professionally and promptly
* Ensure full compliance with legislation, Awards, EAs and internal policies
* Assist with workers compensation claims and reporting
What You'll Bring
* 2-3 years' payroll experience in a medium-sized organisation
* SAP payroll experience or similar
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
* Excellent accuracy, organisation and time management
* Clear communication skills with staff at all levels
* Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
* High level of discretion and confidentiality
* Bonus: experience in mining, resources or an industrial environment.
