What you can expect in a day in this role:
As a key part of the kitchen team, you'll work in a fast‐paced and supportive environment, delivering smokehouse‐styled dishes to a consistently high standard. You'll be hands‐on in the preparation, cooking, and plating of our signature menu, including slow‐cooked BBQ, quality steaks and generous share‐style meals. Working closely with senior chefs, you'll help maintain consistency in flavour and presentation while supporting smooth service across busy periods. Whether in a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie capacity, you'll play an important role in ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
What you will bring to the role:
* Experience working as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar hospitality environment
* Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Have a genuine passion for working with high quality Tasmanian produce
* Desire to create memorable exceptional customer experience
* Motivated and driven team player
* Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and public holidays
