GP2Oz is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join an established team in the beautiful Whitsunday Region of Queensland. This is a full-time position, based in Proserpine, with the opportunity for working at the local hospital too. You will provide high-quality primary health care services to a diverse patient population. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care. This practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology to support your practice and provide the best possible care to their patients.
Responsibilities
* Conducting consultations and assessments for a range of acute and chronic health conditions
* Providing appropriate treatment and management plans for patients
* Educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Participating in quality improvement activities and clinical audits
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment
* A positive and proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development
