These values guide us in all aspects of our operations and interactions, shaping our corporate culture and driving our success.The Role:Heritage Manor, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility located in Morwell, Victoria, invites applications for the Part-Time Administration Assistant role.The Administration Assistant/Receptionist provides comprehensive administrative support within the aged care facility, under the supervision of the Residential Care and Services Manager. This role serves as the primary contact for visitors and callers, playing a crucial role in the facility's operations.This position requires a positive, efficient, and compassionate attitude towards staff, residents, families, contractors, volunteers, and visitors. The main responsibilities include reception and office administration tasks delegated by the Office Manager.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Actively listen to consumers, understand their needs, and assist them in achieving their individual goals.Manage front office reception, including message handling, greeting visitors warmly, and accepting deliveries.Perform simple word processing, data entry, photocopying, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.Handle petty cash and banking tasks.Build meaningful relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies to enhance residents' quality of life.Promptly report workplace risks to management.Report consumer-related risks, including behaviors inconsistent with our values.Attend scheduled training to maintain current skills.Essential Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum of 12 months experience working in an Aged Care facility.A customer-centric approach with genuine passion for aged care.Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, reliability, and a positive, adaptable attitude.Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively within a team.What’s in it for You?Baptcare values its employees and fosters a culture of respect, support, and positive intent.
