About the role
We are seeking a passionate and loving Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Miniversity Early Learning Centre in Mundingburra, Townsville, Queensland.
Our Nursery Room is where you will enjoy a play based nurturing environment with a maximum of 8 children.
This part-time or full-time role offers you the opportunity to positively impact young children's lives in a nurturing and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
* Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs for children aged 0-5 years.
* Implement the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and support the overall development of each child.
* Observe and assess children's progress and provide individualised support to meet their individual needs.
* Foster a warm, caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes children's creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional skills.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and development.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards.
* Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve your practice.
What we're looking for
* Certificate 3, Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
* Excellent understanding of child development and a commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
* Passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young children.
* We encourage a play-based learning environment combined with intentional teaching moments to foster children's development.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates and a valid Working with Children Check.
