Sales & Production Facility Manager
Purpose
We are seeking a driven and operationally focused Sales & Production Facility Manager to lead our busy Pakenham site.
This role is more than just sales it is about owning the full operation of the facility, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, handovers, stock, logistics, and production support.
You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry through to handover and beyond, while also ensuring the behind-the-scenes operations of the business run efficiently.

The Role
As the Sales & Production Facility Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Pakenham facility, balancing customer-facing sales performance with operational execution.
This includes overseeing showroom activity, coordinating handovers, managing stock flow, and supporting production logistics to ensure the site runs smoothly.
You will lead a small team while working closely with Head Office and other branches to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end operations of the Pakenham facility (sales + operations + logistics)
* Oversee sales performance, customer experience, and showroom presentation
* Coordinate customer handovers, scheduling, and delivery readiness
* Allocate and manage incoming and outgoing stock
* Support production and logistics coordination between sites
* Lead, mentor, and support a small team of sales consultants
* Manage customer enquiries (walk-ins, phone, email)
* Conduct product demonstrations and handovers
* Process sales and orders via Xero and CRM systems (Zoho preferred)
* Provide after-sales support and maintain strong customer relationships
* Assist with interstate and local trade shows and events
* Report on sales, operations, challenges, and performance metrics
* Ensure daily financial processes including till balancing and banking
* Maintain a high standard of site organisation and stock readiness
What You'll Be Managing
You will act as the key point of contact for:
* Head Office & internal departments
* Sales and production teams
* Customer enquiries (in-person, phone, email)
* Stock allocation and logistics coordination
* Trade show customers and event attendees
* After-sales support and issue resolution
* Monday-Saturday Roster
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
* Minimum 2+ years in a management role (retail, operations, or similar)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Proven ability to manage both sales and operational workflows
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* High-level organisation and multitasking ability
* Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, CRM systems)
* Experience with sales systems and reporting
* Full driver's licence
* Ability to tow or willingness to learn
* Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
Nice to Have
* Experience in caravans, camping, 4WD, or automotive industries
* Experience using Xero and Zoho CRM
* Background in logistics, production coordination, or stock management
