A Day in the Life
Join Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team to support the launch and adoption of the Affera electrophysiology mapping and navigation system and related products. The Regional Sales Manager will recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team to drive revenue growth in cardiac ablation consumable products and the installation base of the Affera system in the Queensland and New Zealand region. You will develop mapping talent in the field, deliver sales growth, and deploy change management skills to meet the needs of the growing organization.
You will be based in Brisbane and report to the Cardiac Ablation Solutions Regional Director. This role combines deep electrophysiology mapping expertise with leadership capabilities to grow a team and expand the CAS business to treat more patients.
Responsibilities
* Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified region to achieve established sales targets
* Develops and implements regional business strategies to execute on opportunities in the region for potential accounts. Implements business & marketing objectives to further sales.
* Manages the day-to-day activities of a sales and clinical team to implement the organization's overall business & marketing strategy for an assigned region
* Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, key account personnel and relevant functions to support selling, mapping, and clinical programs
* Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization's sales plans to increase market share
* Assesses need for the addition of new selling programs and processes, conducts competitive analysis, and implements strategies
* Coaches sales representatives on capital & consumable aspects of the organization's products and services; marketing campaigns and sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Minimum bachelor's degree is required
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability to operate 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems
* Demonstrate an agile and can-do mindset
* Interstate travel is required
* Valid driver's licence required
