Key Responsibilities
* Deliver community‐based maternal and child health assessments, screening, and follow‐up care for infants and young children.
* Provide evidence‐based health education to parents, caregivers, and community groups on breastfeeding, nutrition, sleep, development, and safety.
* Coordinate referrals to allied health, specialist services, and local support agencies when required.
* Undertake home visits, clinic sessions, and outreach services across rural and regional settings.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, report on service outcomes, and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
Selection Criteria
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 2 years relevant experience; candidates with 3–30+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
* Proven ability to work with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and to provide trauma‐informed care.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills with sound decision‐making under community conditions.
* Eligible to work in Australia: Australian citizen, permanent resident, or on a valid work visa.
