Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent catering professional to join our dynamic airside team at Adelaide Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently load and unload aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks and drive them to the correct destination.
* Guide vehicles for safe approach and work with airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct.
* Remove empty carts and transport them back to the catering facility, performing routine vehicle checks along the way.
* Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens.
* Communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery handover.
* Coordinate with dispatch aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Clean MR or HR driver's license required.
* Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
* Proven track record of prioritizing safety above all else.
* Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Neat and tidy presentation.
* Availability to work 38 hours/week as a full-time permanent position.
