If you pride yourself on being a reliable, driven and self-motivated individual then we want YOU to join our Customer Service team based in our Port Melbourne Office! In this opportunity, you will work off a rotating roster with shifts ranging between our operating hours of 6 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday and rotational roster for Saturdays, 6 am to 12 pm.
Your day will involve:
* Receive orders and enter them into our systems in a precise and agile manner (with training provided)
* Understand production capabilities of the Boral plant and truck network Monitor progress of deliveries and provide delivery status information to the customer, using vehicle tracking systems
* Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams.
What are we looking for?
* Be a punctual, professional and reliable team member, joining your peers in the office - 5 days per week.
* Enthusiastic customer focus, willing to be an integral part of a busy and efficient order-taking and distribution team
* Exceptional communication skills to identify and resolve customer issues and capture customer orders with the highest level of precision
* Computer literate
* Proven ability to learn and meet the challenges of an ever-changing environment.
