Your new role: In this role within Internal Medicine Services, you will provide specialist Medical Oncology and/or Haematology care while contributing to leadership, education, research and service improvement across Metro South Health, with responsibilities including: * Providing inpatient and outpatient specialist care, including participation in the on-call roster * Delivering consultations across Logan Hospital and other Metro South Health facilities * Participating in multidisciplinary clinics, meetings and care planning * Supervising and teaching registrars, junior doctors and medical students * Contributing to and/or leading research, quality improvement and clinical governance activities * Supporting effective clinical handover, documentation and patient-centred models of care About you: You are a committed specialist who values collaboration, safety and excellence in patient care, with: * Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (or equivalent) * Specialist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA in Medical Oncology and/or Haematology * Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient cancer services * Strong leadership, communication and mentoring capabilities * A commitment to education, research, quality improvement and continuous professional development * The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a complex health environment Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
