**Our client is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting families and individuals with disability through Supported Independent Living options, various weekend activities and camp programs. Due to internal movement we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join the team. Within this role, you will provide a range of HR operational support including**:
- Provide effective HR advice to managers and employees to ensure compliance and minimise risk.
- Manage employee relations in a positive, proactive and strategic manner to support the business plan and achieve appropriate change.
- Support management with performance reviews and management
- Recruitment initiatives and retention
- Implement and review policy and procedure in line with employment legislation and in support of HR best practice
- Working closely with Senior Management to ensure that all relevant staff's training, certification, accreditation, licenses are up to date and records updated accordingly.
- Lead and drive effective Safety and RTW framework and strategy alongside the Management Team
**What we are looking for**:
- Relevant degree qualifications and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Passionate about people and building top class teams
- Flexible mindset.
- Proven track record designing and implementing HR systems and processes
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Motivated self-starter who is just as comfortable formulating high level HR strategy, as rolling up sleeves and dealing with the day-to-day needs of the business.
- Experienced in advising on issues relating to Australian employment law
- Excellent problem solving, negotiating and superior communication skills
- People management
- Reliable and punctual
