Become a Bus Driver
Becoming a bus driver can be very safe, rewarding and a work-flexible career choice. Driving a bus provides different work rosters across early mornings, days, nights and weekends, and sometimes special events.
You will need:
Genuine interest for driving.
Passion for Customer Service.
Good Communication Skills - with the ability to read, understand and converse in English, read maps, calculate change, understand timetables, operate radio and learn operating procedures/systems.
Have Positive & Flexible Outlook
Attractive pay and rewards. Earn up to over $85K + per annum.
Permanent part-time positions, with a guarantee of at least 30 + hours a week.
Extra working hour options are available.
Overtime opportunities.
Extensive ongoing training.
You will need the following to apply:
Hold an HR driving license (issued in WA) or prepare to get one.
Willing to get Passenger Transport Driver authorization, (PTD)
Have a valid National Police Clearance certificate (not more than 3 months old)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)
Unrestricted right to live and work in Australia.
Currently residing in Perth.
