Lead a pivotal role in shaping heart health across the Northern Territory, leveraging your expertise to drive impactful advocacy and contribute to national policy change on cardiovascular health and RHD. As a seasoned leader, you will work closely with First Nations communities, stakeholders, and national teams to align regional efforts with strategic goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications and experience in public health, medicine, policy, advocacy, or community services.
* Demonstrated cultural competence in working with First Nations peoples.
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in developing and delivering advocacy strategies and policy submissions.
* Knowledge of cardiovascular health, and ideally, ARF and RHD.
* A passion for health equity and a commitment to improving outcomes for priority populations.
