Join us as a pivotal contributor in transforming how Cisco and Splunk collaborate with providers and partners to accelerate the growth of Splunk offerings within strategic enterprise customer segments. As a Strategic Partner Development Manager - Splunk, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building strategic relationships with our partner community across Australia —including both established and net-new Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and System Integrators.
You will support our sales teams and partner sellers by implementing dynamic growth strategies for high-velocity partner development. The focus will be on enabling partner success, generating new pipeline opportunities, and facilitating co-selling of products, solutions, and software through effective go-to-market initiatives. Your expertise in the IT sector, particularly in security and observability architectures, will be essential for success in this high-impact role.
Your Impact
As Our Inventive, Well-organised, And Driven Strategic Partner Development Manager You Will Work Closely With Cisco And Splunk Teams, As Well As Key Partners And Sales Stakeholders (Regional Sales Managers, Specialists, And Sales Engineers), Promoting Collaborative Selling To Enterprise Accounts. As a Trusted Advisor For The "top End Of Town" Customers, You Will
* Develop and execute strategic sales and go-to-market plans to drive Splunk revenue growth.
* Build and nurture relationships with key partners, VARs, and System Integrators across NSW and QLD.
* Enable and coach partner sales teams to identify and generate net-new business opportunities.
* Lead partner enablement initiatives, including training, workshops, and best practice sharing.
* Identify and advance new route-to-market opportunities, especially with cloud-based partners.
* Collaborate with marketing to drive programmatic initiatives and increase partner engagement.
* Provide regular reporting and forecasting of partner-led pipeline using Salesforce and Splunk apps.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Splunk's Partner Program (Partnerverse) and guide partners through its benefits.
* Represent Cisco and Splunk at industry events, product seminars, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence.
* Stay ahead of competitive trends and market dynamics, sharing insights with internal and partner teams.
* Deliver Joint Partner Business plans
Minimum Qualifications
* 7+ years' B2B selling experience in a similar or adjacent industry, start-up, or consultancy, ideally with technology and SaaS sales exposure.
* Demonstrated success in a fully remote environment, building new relationships, navigating complex organisations, and achieving quota.
* Proven experience managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, proving value, and closing deals.
* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in partner/channel management or enterprise sales, with a track record of success in software, security, or observability solutions.
* High motivation with a competitive nature, tenacity, and drive.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple communication channels.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear business outcomes for customers and partners.
* Willingness to continually learn, adapt, and share knowledge, staying up to date with new technologies, market trends, and competition.
* Demonstrated history of career progression and a desire for professional development.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-changing, team-oriented environment.
* Experience with Salesforce and partner pipeline management tools.
* Knowledge of the Australian enterprise market, particularly in New South Wales and Queensland.
