Senior / Project Landscape Architect – Gold Coast Office

Our award‐winning team is looking to grow and we are seeking a Senior / Project Landscape Architect to be based at our Gold Coast office. The successful candidate will build professional experience across a broad range of projects and will provide design solutions, documentation and cost‐efficient delivery that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities
* Assist in achieving successful projects from inception to delivery and ensure client satisfaction through on‐time delivery of a quality product.
* Work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary design team, collaborating with urban designers, planners, surveyors, project managers, heritage and environment specialists.
* Prepare plans, documents and computer‐based drawings for projects using Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign and related software.
* Produce computer‐based diagrams, renders and imagery using Revit, Lumion, Photoshop and similar programs.
* Support the project lead by preparing cost estimates, resolving complex design problems (grading, construction detailing, etc.) and managing stakeholder relationships with clients, contractors, sub‐consultants and industry bodies.
* Contribute to all phases of the landscape design process across Queensland, New South Wales, ACT and Victoria on projects such as Southport Aquatic Centre, Burleigh Heads Masterplan, Fish Lane Town Square, West Village, Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Cardwell Foreshore, Yarrabilba and Flagstone Town Centres, and Anna Meares Velodrome.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) – preferred but not essential.
* Experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice – advantageous.
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop – required.
* Knowledge of additional software such as Blender, Sketch‐up and Lumion – advantageous.
* A valid Australian driving licence.
* Citizenship, permanent residency or a visa that entitles the candidate to work full time on an ongoing basis for at least three years; sponsorship is not available.
