We currently have vacancies for a senior pool technician and happy to take on trainees in addition to this role. Experienced candidates are highly valued, but training will be provided. If you are self-motivated, honest and reliable who are able to work alone or as part of the team, well-mannered with good communication skills, ability to maintaining a high level of attention to detail, then we are looking forward to your application. This is a full-time position that will be paid according to experience & qualifications. Typical wage rate is for Senior pool technician role which includes a fully serviced vehicle.
Qualifications & experience
Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
* Experience in pool or building/plumbing industry is highly valued
* Senior role: Minimum 3 years' experience in pool maintenance or related field
* Trainee role: No prior experience required, but mechanical aptitude preferred
* Must be physically fit and able to lift/carry equipment up to 25kg
* Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Excellent time management skills - Good understanding of OH&S/handling pool chemicals - Drivers license required.
* A full driver's licence is required for this position.
Tasks & responsibilities
* You will be responsible for all pool, spa and equipment installation, pumps, filters, chlorinators, heaters etc. Water treatment, testing and analysis. Problem solving relating to the pool & spa equipment and operations, including general maintenance and cleaning of pools & spas.
