**Oriental Merchant** is a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, supplying major supermarket chains such as Coles, and Woolworths and Independent stores with brands familiar throughout Asia Pacific. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist to conceptualise, develop and implement marketing plans for the assigned brand portfolio, supervising marketing execution through to their completion.
- Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
- Researching on competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
- Assisting in planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events and sponsorships, including coordinating logistics, managing vendors, and creating timelines.
- Preparing marketing reports by collecting and summarizing sales data. Helping conduct and collate findings from market research
- Reporting results of marketing activities for internal records and external stakeholders to ensure a transparent and complete account
- Monitoring budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Coordinating information and collaterals flow with internal and external stakeholders on marketing executions, including liaising with trade/sales teams, media agencies and creative agencies, adhering to budgets and providing feedback regarding the processes
- Assisting in maintaining all image archives and image library (includes maintaining up-to-date product images and brand logos), providing images to the group upon request
- Update and maintain brand tracks to ensure marketing campaigns are executed as per the marketing plan
- Prepare and send monthly reports to suppliers/global marketing team
- Check, process and seek approvals for invoices and marketing activity claims.
- Provide general marketing and administration support
- Other tasks assigned by the manager or management

**What You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Full Australian working rights
- Experience in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- ** At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role**
