About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our Pre Contracts team in Sydney, supporting a strong pipeline of infrastructure tenders across roads, bridges and associated civil works. You will lead the estimating process end-to-end, developing cost estimates and methodologies working closely with delivery teams to ensure bids are accurate, competitive and commercially sound. Day to day you will; Build detailed cost estimates, including quantities, rates and risk allowances. Develop construction methodologies, staging and delivery strategies to support competitive submissions. Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to identify key risks and requirements. Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing. Work closely with operational teams to validate assumptions and ensure alignment with delivery capability. Contribute to tender reviews and submission documentation. Support contract handover to delivery teams, ensuring clarity on scope, risks and key assumptions. Provide insights and learnings from successful and unsuccessful tenders to support continuous improvement. What you’ll bring to the team Strong experience as a Senior Estimator within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment. Proven experience pricing civil infrastructure projects, particularly roads, bridges or similar works, ideally on projects valued at $20m and above. Strong first principles estimating capability, with experience using Expert Estimation Genesis or similar estimating system. Solid understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery within complex infrastructure environments. Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to assess inputs and identify risks and opportunities. Ability to work through complex technical details and develop practical, buildable solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline Sound like you?
