About the Role
Based in our
Sydney office or Goulburn NSW HQ,
you'll be part of a tight-knit team of design professionals and oversee the full design lifecycle — from initial brief to shop drawing production, approval, and delivery, you'll be the lynch pin between Sales & Production. You'll be a
technical expert, project leader, and client liaison,
ensuring everything is delivered to the highest standards — on time, every time, exactly as promised.
What You'll Be Doing
•
Own projects end-to-end -
not just drawings on a screen, but customer & consultant conversations, creative solutions, and practical designs.
•
Opportunity to Lead & Mentor
a small but mighty team of design professionals.
•
Produce and review
detailed stair flight and associated product drawings using BricsCAD Mechanical & Sketchup.
•
Interpret architectural and structural plans
to schedule, mark up, and design tailored shop drawing packages.
•
Collaborate closely
with architects, engineers, and internal production teams.
•
Ensure design compliance,
manage submissions, and drive approvals.
•
Maintain meticulous documentation
for every project and every drawing.
Who You Are
You're a design-savvy leader with
hands-on CAD experience
and a passion for precision. You're just as comfortable at the drafting table as you are working with a team or liaising efficiently with architects, engineers, builders and clients.
You'll need:
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or BricsCAD.
• A solid grasp of architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience in construction & manufacturing is a big plus.
• Proven leadership and quality English speaking communication skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and a hunger to solve problems.
