About the role
At Big River Pork, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This full-time role and will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and support to our state-of-the-art pork processing facility.
What you'll be doing
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
* Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Assist with the installation of new electrical infrastructure and equipment
* Maintain detailed records of all electrical work completed
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and procedures
* Provide mentoring and guidance to junior electrical technicians
What we're looking for
* Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Trade License
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or commercial electrical maintenance role
* Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Weekend work when required paid at overtime rates
