**The Opportunity**
Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team based in Newcastle 2300. As the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for driving superior commercial outcomes, ensuring contractual compliance and protecting Veolia's commercial interests across New South Wales and Victoria.

**What You'll be Responsible for**
- Commercial ownership, contract administration and risk management for all contracting matters.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external Veolia interfaces, commercial managers, business leaders and our customers.
- Identify and exercising value enhancement opportunities, such as savings and revenue enhancement.
- Providing commercial advice and input to tenders and unsolicited proposals.
- Facilitate engagement with Veolias central procurement team to enable resilient and value driven supply chains and services subcontracting.
**What You'll Need to be Successful**
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline, desirable.
- Experience leading and developing high performing commercial contract management teams to deliver project outcomes within specified parameters (schedule, scope and commercial).
- Ability to identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ability to establish and maintain robust business relationships with various stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with suppliers as required.
