The National Blood Authority (NBA) is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining projects, business-as-usual support, infrastructure, security, and operational call centre solutions.
Key Responsibilities

1. Support various Windows Servers, SQL Servers, backup tools, support tools, and virtual infrastructure.
2. Install, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization products in a networked environment.
3. Automate system tasks using scripting or tools such as PowerShell, System Centre Configuration Manager, and other automation systems.
4. Provide technical support to resolve incidents and service requests effectively, promptly, and courteously.
5. Assist with the integration of cloud services into the NBA environment.
6. Operate in an environment compliant with the ACSC Information Security Manual.
7. Support and advise the CIO, Infrastructure team, and Architecture on infrastructure technology decisions.
8. Work with limited oversight as part of a small multidisciplinary team.
9. Develop documentation such as standard operating procedures and technical knowledge base articles, and assist in documentation and procurement matters.
10. Deliver a client-focused approach in work priorities and assist team members to complete projects and tasks effectively.
11. Perform server operating system upgrades, migrations, and patching activities under formal change management processes.
12. Perform infrastructure hardware replacements and upgrades under formal change management processes.
