About the role: This role will be working for our Mars Food Nutrition segment, where we bring people together through flavour.
Role Title: Packaging Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist Location: Hybrid (Wyong and WFH) Reporting to: Regional SQA Manager AST/MFA As a Packaging Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist, you will assure compliance to our Packaging supplier management and risk assessment standards/plans.
You will lead Packaging supplier audits, while acting as the subject matter expert regarding the Packaging materials for which you are leading.
Your goal will be to mitigate any recall risk and assure that we are delivering the best quality products possible to our customers.
What you'll do: You will provide expertise in the processing of materials for your given product lines.
Lead several aspects of the Packaging supplier relationship, including data compliance, quality audits, and hazard controls.
Partnering with our internal packaging buyers to ensure all packaging material specifications are reviewed, understood, and agreed to by the suppliers.
Your unique ingredients: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in food science or engineering.
Demonstrated experience in Packaging Quality and or R D Packaging.
Ability to travel 30% of the time.
Manufacturing experience, with the willingness and physical capability to work in such environments when necessary.
Experience in auditing Q FS Management Systems.
