The Brisbane-based team is focused on ensuring legislative compliance and audit defensibility across a decade of payroll data.
Job Description Cleanse, review, and analyse large payroll datasets to identify impacted employees and quantify financial exposure.
Build defensible models and calculations that stand up to external audit scrutiny.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, working under the leadership of a senior compliance expert.
Apply your understanding of payroll legislation, especially around Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL), to validate and refine existing frameworks.
The Successful Applicant A successful Business Analyst (Payroll) should have: Proven experience as a Payroll Business Analyst, Payroll Data Analyst, or similar role.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, modelling) and comfort working with large datasets.
Familiarity with SAP, Ramco, or other enterprise payroll systems.
Experience in payroll remediation, compliance audits, or LSL-specific projects in Australia.
Methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and pressure-test frameworks.
What's on Offer Contract Duration: 2-3 months initially, with strong potential for extension.
Location: Brisbane Rate: $100-120/hr (casual hourly rate).
