This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our Legal Team in Melbourne on a contract basis (9-12 months). You will report directly to our General Counsel/Co Secretary and play a key role in supporting our diverse businesses and stakeholders by providing legal, risk & compliance advice.
Key skills and qualifications include:
* 4-7 years of post-admission experience in Australia essential
* A generalist commercial lawyer with Australian law firm or corporate environment background
* Expertise in commercial law, compliance, consumer law, claims & disputes
* Developing and executing a compliance strategy, assessing risks, reviewing legislation and regulations
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, outstanding communication skills and high commercial acumen
