About the role
The
Personal
Assistant
is responsible for coordinating and undertaking a range of confidential administrative functions and services that ensure the efficient functioning and operations of the Business Unit and confidential executive support services to the Faculty Dean. The role monitors and manages calendars and incoming and outgoing information, identifies, monitors and attends to urgent matters on behalf of the Faculty Dean and senior leadership team and ensures work referred to the office is appropriately distributed in the absence of the Faculty Dean.
The
Personal
Assistant
is also responsible for providing executive officer services for a range of committees and meetings, providing sound administrative advice and recommendations to business unit staff and stakeholders, and undertaking research, minor projects and event management.

Special Conditions
Some out of hours work may be required
Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program
