Due to significant growth in our retail grocery channel, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to manage and grow our largest retail customer.
As the Senior NAM you will have full accountability for negotiating range, distribution, promotional activity and display of Vittoria Food & Beverage (VFB) products to ensure operating plan objectives are achieved.
At the end of the first year, success would mean achieving sales and net margin targets within specified volume, delivering on trade spend budgets and executing brand strategies across the Customer Group.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive national account account management experience;
* Existing business and customer relationships within FMCG
* Previous experience working with Woolworths, Coles, Metcash, Convenience or Independent channels;
* Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen;
* Proven success in managing accounts, selling and closing deals.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for building effective teams;
* A successful track record in negotiating successful outcomes and issue resolution.
* Outstanding communication, presentation and persuasive skills.
* Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement long-term strategies to grow the business;
* Build and cultivates a high-performing team environment across account and marketing empowering associates to deliver the sales plan;
* Achieve ranging and distribution of VFB products;
* Develop promotional strategy and plans to delivery sales and net margin across the account;
* Develop formal category plans to achieve growth;
* Develop collaborative relationships across multiple levels and departments across the account.
