We are seeking a Partnerships Manager who will be responsible for growing revenue and increasing engagement to achieve revenue and partnership targets for the corporate and business fundraising portfolio. This includes corporate donations, sponsorship, workplace giving and fundraising, pro-bono support, and Awayside Days (Wayside's paid corporate volunteering opportunity).
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will cultivate profitable and mutually beneficial partnerships with existing and prospective corporates and businesses in alignment with Wayside Chapel's mission and key priorities.
As a Partnerships Manager, you will:
* Develop and implement a corporate partnerships strategy and framework, with the intent to research, identify, establish and motivate partnerships for the purpose of funding sustainability and mission-enhancement.
* Build successful relationships with corporate and business donor relationships.
* Manage the corporate pipeline, including the delivery of events, meetings, speaking engagements and presentations.
* Manage corporate grants (including identification, application and acquittals), with support from the Grants Manager and Programs team.
* Work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and Individual Giving Manager to ensure campaigns and events are marketed to corporates, including staff engagement opportunities (Long Walk Home, City2Surf, Awayside Days).
* Provide reporting with appropriate data, analysis and recommendations, ensuring all corporate donor and prospect information is captured in Salesforce.
About you:
* Proven experience working with corporate or business donors and securing high value partnerships or philanthropic gifts.
* Exceptional relationship management skills with demonstrated experience fostering relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and confidence in preparing and delivering compelling presentations, proposals and funding applications.
* Experience preparing and monitoring budgets against agreed targets, and reporting to management and Board on financial progress.
