Financial Business Partner Lead
The role of Financial Business Partner Lead is a key leadership position that requires an individual to work closely with site leaders to provide financial insights that drive informed decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
This leadership role involves:
1. Partnering with site leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes
2. Leading the delivery of month-end reporting for our operations in Australia
3. Reviewing financial results and preparing reports that explain the underlying factors contributing to those results
4. Coaching and developing a team of operations accountants to enhance their skills and contribute to improved financial capabilities on-site
5. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and relevant regulatory requirements
6. Supporting labor cost analysis and uploading production statistics for local and global reporting purposes
7. Acting as a critical contributor in the annual budgeting process across the Curragh Mine
About You:
As a Financial Business Partner Lead, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to lead a team effectively, translate complex financial data into actionable insights, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
Key to your success will be your:
1. Strong background in financial business partnering, either in a commercial environment or be ready to transition from private practice
2. Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
3. Ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
4. Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
5. A natural coaching style and passion for helping others grow professionally
