Customer Support Officer – City of Port Phillip

Role overview
Our Customer Support Officers are the heart of our Library service and are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across our five Library branches. You will have a passion for your community and will create safe, diverse and inclusive spaces for people of all demographics.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide welcoming, knowledgeable customer, information and reader advisory service across five Library branches.
* Support Library Services, Operations and Collections teams in delivering a range of services.
* Work evenings and weekends to support the operational requirements of the library.


Required Skills & Experience

* Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced, diverse environment – preferably in a library setting.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a high‑performing team with an accountability mindset.
* Flexible and adaptive approach to service delivery and a desire to learn.
