About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to support our main Distribution Centre in Coopers Plains. Alongside the warehouse team you will be responsible for general warehouse responsibilities such as picking, packing and receiving/despatch of goods to the warehouse. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are definitely not limited to:
* Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods
* Picking and packing of orders
* Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers
* Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area
* Assist the Warehouse Manager with periodic stock checks
* Adhering to warehousing and inventory procedures
* Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries
* Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods
* Operate computer software to locate stock codes, check purchase orders, track back orders, locate and track stock movements and transfers
* Performing deliveries of customer orders where required
About you:
To be successful in this position you will:
* Have a current forklift licence;
* Have a current QLD Drivers Licence;
* Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude;
* Be well presented and willing to learn and develop new skills;
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Enjoy working as part of a team;
* Have strong attention to detail;
* Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
