About the Role
As an Orthopaedic Technician, in collaboration with the clinical team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration and management of orthopaedic equipment, resources, consumables and repairs.
The Orthopaedic Technician facilitates equipment requirements and technical support for orthopaedic and OMF surgery.
Selection Criteria
Previous experience in a similar role within an Operating Suite.
Demonstrated computer literacy, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement activities and the Accreditation process.
Demonstrated ability to work within a small team.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work unsupervised.
Demonstrated commitment to working in alignment with South Perth Hospital's mission, vision, and values, with a proven ability to model values-based behaviours in the workplace.
Experience teaching new and novice staff in the role of the orthopaedic technician.
