W Sydney, located at 31 Wheat Road, is hiring a Welcome Desk Manager. Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms, this integral role will drive a guest-oriented mindset amongst the team and lead by example. You will support the team in creating Whatever/Whenever moments for our guests and continuously striving for service that goes above and beyond. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
* Performing day-to-day duties with passion and charisma whilst demonstrating outstanding communication skills;
* Driving W's Whatever Whenever Culture and Bonvoy Loyalty program;
* Assists the Welcome and Whatever Whenever Managers with all aspects of Rooms Division operations including business decisions and following W brand guidelines;
* Responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the Welcome Desk;
* Ensures high standards of service that maximizes guests satisfaction;
* Extensive knowledge of guest services procedures, financial procedures, and payment processes;
* Establishes challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance;
* Utilises interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others;
* Advocates sound financial/ business decision making; demonstrates honesty and integrity.
