About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to take ownership of the estimating department and play a key role in securing and delivering commercial projects throughout SEQ. You'll be trusted to utilise your existing industry contacts, preferred suppliers, and preferred estimating methods/processes to achieve outstanding results. This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and support, with the flexibility to base yourself at the Brisbane office, work from home, or operate from the Toowoomba office if preferred.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Managing the full tender process, from evaluating opportunities to submission
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
* Preparing accurate cost plans, budgets, and tender submissions for projects $50k–$5m
* Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance
* Liaising with the project delivery team to ensure smooth handover and accurate cost control
* Driving department efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You're a confident, experienced estimator who enjoys taking full ownership of your work and being trusted to deliver results. You'll bring:
* Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the commercial or industrial sectors
* Strong supplier and subcontractor networks within the industry
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Solid understanding of tender processes, procurement, and cost planning
* Ability to work independently and implement your own processes
* Commitment to quality, safety, and building strong client relationships
